The trash hauler will not take cans of wet paint. Latex paint is not a hazardous waste which means it can be put out with your regular trash after it has been solidified. This can be accomplished by simply removing the lid and allowing it to harden, mixing it with sawdust, kitty litter or rags. Do not replace the lid so the hauler knows all liquid has been absorbed.

If you want cardboard boxes taken as recycling, flatten all boxes and place along side of your recycling bins. Boxes filled with trash or other items, such as leaves, will not be recycled. If your boxes are very large, you may have to cut them down to a more manageable size.
