[ARCHIVED] Taylor Road: Stormwater Upgrades

Our Public Works Department will soon start stormwater upgrades on Taylor Road. This work is to help increase capacity of the stormwater system and prepare for resurfacing later in the year.

What's involved in the project

A new stormwater pipe and five inlets will be installed between Horseshoe Lane and Nancy Jane Lane. An existing pipe will also be replaced across Taylor Road.

When the work will take place

This work is expected to start in late April/ early May and may take up to six weeks to complete. During installation, some road closures and lane restrictions may occur. Work will take place weekdays between 7:00am and 4:30pm.

Plan your travel

School bus routes and trash collection will continue as usual. However, due to possible lane restrictions and road closures at times, we encourage you to allow extra time for travel. When traveling near the work area, please slow down and stay alert.

Road Resurfacing

These stormwater upgrades must take place before we can resurface the roadway. We’ll have more details about this later in the year.
