On Monday, April 10, 2023, Uwchlan Township held the April Board of Supervisors meeting at Lionville Middle School. This location change was due to the number of residents interested in public comment regarding the Sketch Plan submitted to the Township for the development of the Lionville Station Road property. The Board would like to thank the residents for their patience and for taking the time to attend the meeting, and for sharing concerns and comments in a thoughtful and respectful manner. The Board is listening to your concerns and comments and will continue to do so throughout the process. Additionally, the Board would like to thank everyone who made it possible to accommodate the meeting change on short notice, including the School District and Township staff.   

The Planning Commission meeting that was scheduled for April 5, 2023, was canceled due to the number of residents in attendance that could not be accommodated in the Township meeting room. It was announced that the Planning Commission meeting would be rescheduled. However, the one item that was on the April agenda (which was unrelated to the Lionville Station Rd property) has been withdrawn from the April agenda by the applicant, so there is no need to reschedule the April Planning Commission meeting. Many Planning Commission members were also in attendance at the April 10th Board meeting and had the opportunity to listen to the public comment as well.   

Until the Township is in receipt of a formal land development application for the Lionville Station Rd property, Township meetings will continue to be held at the Township building (unless otherwise noted on the Township website). Once a plan and/or application for this project is submitted to the Township, we will make the public aware via our website and plan to hold special meetings to discuss this project and accommodate everyone who wishes to attend. As always, concerned residents are invited to attend any township meeting in the meantime to voice their comments and questions.
