On Thursday evening, Governor Wolf ordered the shut down of all non-life essential businesses. Due to a high number of waiver requests, the deadline for enforcing this order was extended from Saturday March 21st, to Monday, March 23, at 8:00 AM. Links to what business will close or remain open can be found below.
On Friday March 20th, the Governor’s office clarified that this closure order includes the construction of the Mariner East II Pipeline, which was deemed non-life essential and construction activities will cease until further notice. Due to the Governor’s declaration and the decision’s impacts on construction, the Township will cease accepting permit applications and scheduling building inspections until further notice.
